Finance Manager

Our client, an award winning technology company, are looking for a Finance Manager to join their growing team. This company prides themselves on offering great worklife balance, with the opportunity to working from home and the office. They will consider applicants who wish to work either full or part-time.

As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for maintaining accurate finance records, dealing with finance issues, and preparing monthly management accounts, including cost centre reporting. You'll also liaise with the external accountant on payroll, taxes, monthly accounts and statutory filing obligations, in addition to acting as line manager to other members of the finance and operations team.

As the Finance Manager you must have the following skills and experience:

-Able to prepare monthly management accounts and assist with financial forecasting, and ad hoc analysis of financial information
-Ability to process overseas / foreign transactions
-Preparation and submission of VAT and NU OSS returns
-Preparation and checking of payroll information
-Invoice preparation and credit control
-Track record of banking, including batch and foreign payments and all reconciliations
-Able to manage third party relations and supplier Management
-Able to appraise existing processes to drive improvement and achieve efficiencies

Previous experience across all aspects of the finance department and advanced Excel (including pivot tables and vlookups).

Experience of Intuit Quickbooks preferred, but training can be provide.

Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA), QBE will be considered
