Recruitment is only ever as good as the people doing it. Our team brings together years of hands-on experience across the Salesforce ecosystem and wider technology market, and they are the reason our clients and candidates keep coming back.
We are a small, focused team. Everyone here is genuinely invested in getting the right outcome, whether that is finding the perfect candidate for a complex role or helping someone take the next step in their career.
We are always on the lookout for talented recruiters who want to do things the right way. At ROD you will work with a team that genuinely knows its market, in a fully remote environment built on trust, experience and real relationships.
If you are passionate about technology recruitment and want to be part of a business where your work actually makes a difference, we would love to hear from you.
Choosing a new role is about more than just the job description, it’s about how it fits into your life. That’s why we work closely with both candidates and businesses to be clear from the start about expectations, culture and ways of working.
From flexible and home-based roles to opportunities that offer direct access to founders and career support, we help surface the details that really matter, so you can make decisions with confidence.
We understand that our ROD family members have unique needs and responsibilities outside of work.
To support work-life balance, we offer a flexible working policies that accommodate diverse situations and personal commitments. Basically it means you get to live your best life by structuring your day how you want.
And to prove how commitment to our ROD family we are, we were proud winners of a local award back in 2018, for best ‘Owner Managed Business’ and received recognition in 2019 for ‘Happy at Work’ environment.
ROD is all about relationships, internally and externally.
The Founders at ROD have been involved in the Salesforce space since 2008, forging long standing relationships with people that are now true Salesforce ecosystem legends. In fact, we have interviewed many of those legends for our Podcast.
We’re also dedicated to providing equal opportunities for professional growth and advancement to all employees, regardless of their background. We strive to create a level playing field where merit and skills are the primary criteria for career progression. In fact, you’ll find that Lee and Theresa are very accessible to everyone in the business, supporting everyone on their own personal career journey, through training and personal development.
In addition, to training and mentoring, Theresa is also a certified Coach who helps people outside of ROD with their lives and careers. As an employee of ROD you get to benefit from free coaching sessions whenever you need them!
We are committed to fostering an inclusive culture that celebrates diversity and supports employees from all backgrounds. We firmly believe that a diverse workforce brings together unique perspectives, experiences, and talents, which ultimately drives innovation, creativity, and success.
We encourage an environment where all employees are treated with respect and empathy. This means actively listening to one another, valuing each other’s perspectives, and understanding the challenges and opportunities that individuals from different backgrounds may face.
We also involve employees from various backgrounds in decision-making processes to ensure diverse perspectives are considered, leading to better outcomes for the organisation as a whole.
And finally, we encourage all of our team members to take part in fundraising and volunteering, as this helps to promote a sense of well being, but is also great for the community too.
Real stories from the people and businesses we’ve partnered with. These case studies show how the right connection can shape careers, strengthen teams and create lasting impact.
We are always interested in hearing from experienced recruiters who want to work differently.
At ROD, you will not be chasing volume targets or working through a script. You will be building real relationships with candidates and clients in a market you genuinely understand. We are a fully remote team, and we have been doing this since 2008, so we know what good looks like on both sides.
If you are an experienced recruiter who is ready for something better, we would love to have a conversation.
ROD was founded in 2008 by Theresa and Lee Durrant, who between them had already been placing technology talent since 1999. We became Europe’s first dedicated Salesforce recruitment agency, and that specialism has shaped everything we have built since.
Over the years we have grown our team, deepened our relationships across the ecosystem and expanded into adjacent technology sectors. What has not changed is the way we work. Every candidate is screened by a real person. Every client gets a recruiter who listens properly. That is not a process we have drifted away from, it is the reason we exist.
We’re proud of the roles we fill, but we’re prouder of the relationships we build along the way. Here’s what some of the people we’ve worked with have to say.
Whether you’re looking for your next hire or your next role, we’d love to hear from you. Fill in the form or drop us an email.
It’s always a real conversation with someone who genuinely knows this market.
I’m an executive coach for the Salesforce and Digital Transformation space, and I love what I do. Helping brilliant technical people find their voice, grow their confidence, and step into the leaders they’re capable of becoming.
I didn’t start out here though. I cut my teeth in resourcing, and one placement still makes me smile: a client needed an incredibly niche mix of skills for a role that had sat open for over a year. Finding that person, and watching them grow and go on to become pivotal to the business, is exactly the kind of moment that hooked me on this industry in the first place, and led me to being a career coach.
After the pandemic, I made the decision to retrained as a counsellor. So many coaching clients were quietly struggling with their mental health, and I wanted to be able to show up for them properly, not just professionally. These days I’d call myself a full-time therapist first, even though recruitment has never lost its grip on me. At its heart, it’s all the same thing I’ve always loved: real, human connection.
I’ve been in Tech Recruitment since the last century! Let’s just say “Jack of All Trades, Master of None”
We’ve been instrumental in helping small businesses hire the best talent to help them grow and be acquired over the years, that’s always a fun ride!
Being coerced into hosting a Podcast that inadvertently led to Presenting live Radio Shows in the Lake District has been a detour I didn’t expect to make, but absolutely love. Also, since moving to The Lake District I really enjoy co-hosting Rambleforce (a Salesforce hiking event) every year up in this beautiful part of the world.
I help support candidates and clients find jobs within the Salesforce and SAP space. I enjoy building relationships with candidates, understanding their aspirations, and guiding them through the recruitment process, while also helping employers find the right talent to grow their businesses. There is a great sense of satisfaction in connecting the right person with the right opportunity and knowing that I have played a part in helping someone take an important step forward in their career.
One of the most meaningful highlights of my recruitment career was helping grow an EMEA client by truly understanding both their hiring needs and the needs of candidates. I was able to place people into roles where they continue to thrive, and in some cases, those professional relationships have developed into lasting trust and friendships.
I am a mum of two beautiful children, but I feel that becoming a mum hasn’t changed who I am. I’ve been able to continue working in a job I love and still enjoy the sports I’m passionate about, especially netball.
I’m the Delivery Lead at Resource On Demand. I’m here to match specialists in all things cloud with their dream next role with a particular specialty in Salesforce technologies where I have focused 12 years of my career. I pride myself on my insight into the market and the ability to read between the lines to match people with the best role for them.
One of my favourite placements was someone who was new to the UK, knew nothing about the market and was terrified about making the “wrong ” move. After spending a lot of time drilling down into her career goals I was able to find a position with a top tier Salesforce partner who could offer the progression she needed alongside the flexibility her family required. I’m pleased to say she is still there and thriving years later.
Outside of work I’m an avid (if ageing) sportsman who still drags his glass knees out for league football on a saturday as well as getting stuck in with some golf, padel, cricket, windsurfing, SUP and rather hopeless skiing. If it’s a sport I’m generally keen to give it a go!
I help Salesforce professionals find their next career opportunity, I enjoy connecting great talent with businesses where they can make an impact.
Throughout my recruitment career I have successfully supported Salesforce specialists through key career moves, helping them secure roles that align with future goals and ambitions.
Outside of work I am a mum to 3 children and I am passionate about travel, I run an online travel platform that helps families travel smarter and create memorable experiences together.
I’m a Salesforce and SaaS Recruitment Delivery Consultant who enjoys building genuine relationships and helping people find the right opportunities. I keep things simple and honest, focusing on matching great talent with the right roles globally.
One of my proudest moments was supporting the NHS Test and Trace campaign, where I recruited for Megalab sites and contributed to scaling a workforce of around 80,000 people. Outside of work, I recently climbed Mount Snowdon – despite a fear of heights – which was a big personal win.
