Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities of the Product Engineer:

-Lead projects end to end — shaping, sequencing, delivering, and standing behind the result.

-Deliver reliably without direction, providing realistic estimates that hold up.

-Sequence work so value lands early rather than all at the end.

-Be measurably fast through better tooling and smarter decisions, not longer hours.

-Use AI tooling as a core part of your workflow, owning the quality of everything it produces.

-Own design decisions across data modelling, integration boundaries, security, and multi‑tenant behaviour.

-Anticipate failure modes that don’t appear in demos — scale, tenancy, data integrity, and security.

-Identify technical debt and make a proportionate case for when to pay it down.

-Raise the quality bar through tooling changes, test improvements, and process enhancements.

-Own incidents in your area through to a fix and the change that prevents recurrence.

-Talk directly with customers, articulate the commercial case for work, and recommend adjustments based on real feedback.

-Take ideas from pitch to live product, grounded in evidence and measurable impact.

-Hold technical lead on projects, support peers, and visibly make the team better.

Skills

Key skills for the Product Engineer:

-Proven experience leading a piece of work end to end, with design decisions attributable to you.

-Evidence of an idea you pitched that shipped, with an honest account of its impact.

-A quality or tooling improvement that outlived the project it came from.

-Customer contact that directly changed what was built.

-Peer feedback showing you make the team better.

-Strong Salesforce development skills — LWC, Apex, and platform security.

-Genuine proficiency with AI tooling, knowing where it’s dependable, where it isn’t, and how to verify outputs.

Experience Requirements

-Indicatively 3+ years building and shipping production software
