This is a key role for a highly technical Salesforce Marketing Cloud expert who can act as the internal SME, owning and continuously evolving the platform to drive engagement, efficiency, and impact.

The Role
You’ll take full ownership of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, ensuring they're optimised, scalable, and aligned with the organisation’s digital and fundraising strategy.
You’ll work closely with marketing, data, and technology teams to deliver high-quality, personalised campaigns while driving best practice across the platform.
Responsibilities
-Act as the Salesforce Marketing Cloud SME across the organisation
-Own and manage Marketing Cloud Engagement (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder)
-Design and implement complex customer journeys and campaign automations
-Optimise data models, segmentation, and personalisation strategies
-Ensure platform performance, governance, and best practice usage
-Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
-Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the platform
Skills
-Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement
-Deep technical expertise across core modules (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, SQL, AMPscript)
-Strong data and segmentation experience
-Experience in non-profit or purpose-led organisations is desirable
