Responsibilities
-Design, build and deliver end‑to‑end Salesforce solutions — both declarative and in Apex.
-Configure objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, Flows, approval processes, permission sets, reports and dashboards.
-Decide when requirements can be met through configuration and when custom development is needed, clearly explaining trade‑offs to customers.
-Read, debug and update Apex triggers and classes, including writing test classes, and provide clear technical briefs to developers for larger custom work.
-QA and peer‑review work built by other consultants and developers, ensuring it meets requirements, follows best practice, and is thoroughly tested before customer delivery.
-Scope and estimate enhancement requests and change cases, flagging risks and dependencies proactively.
-Support customer testing, UAT, training and go‑live, acting as a trusted advisor post‑launch.
-Share customer insights with the Product team to help shape the roadmap.
Skills
-Strong declarative skills, especially in building and debugging complex Flows.
-Hands‑on Apex experience (required) — able to write and maintain triggers, classes and test classes to deployment standard, while defaulting to declarative solutions where appropriate.
-A strong eye for detail and a quality‑first mindset, with experience testing Salesforce solutions, writing test scenarios, regression testing, and reviewing Flows and code.
-Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security and sharing, and governor limits.
-Clear communication with both technical and non‑technical audiences, and a structured approach to breaking down ambiguous requirements.
